Sr. Graphics Designer

Job Description:

Candidate will work as part of the creative team to solve various creative challenges for online in-video advertising. Should be passionate about combining both design disciplines and Action-Script programming.

Skills Required:

  • ActionScript 3.0 coding capabilities
  • Experienced digital designer, expert with common design software Photoshop, Illustrator/Freehand etc.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Rich Media, Flash and Flex
  • Understanding of object oriented design and development skills
  • Experienced in building user interface
  • Has the touch for building user interface, experience and usability
  • Experience in building rich internet applications is an advantage
  • At least 2 years experience working in an interactive agency or web studio environment
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems on the fly

Sr. Java Developer

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Java developer to join our development efforts with regards to Java/MySql database-driven online interactive video applications.

Skills Required:

  • Mandatory experience in developing interactive, database-driven web applications, using Java middleware
  • Very strong expertise with Java related technologies including Java 6, Servlet API, JSP, Struts, Spring/taglibs, Hibernate, Jboss, Ant, etc
  • Familiar with a Java IDE (i.e. Netbeans, Eclipse) and version control system (Subversion)
  • Proficiency in OO system development methodologies and design patterns
  • Proficiency in multi-threaded programming
  • Familiar with HTML/XML/CSS/some JavaScript
  • Very strong SQL knowledge, capable of writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures
  • Understanding of application development and business continuity issues in a high-load/high performance server farm i.e. load balancing, persistence, replication, clustering
  • Responsible for high-level and detailed work definition; completion of a prototype; revisions for work effort definitions based on functional design; complete unit testing and coding; source control; code review; building and deployment for the production web environment; integration testing; QA and UAT Support; production release support; post implementation support
  • Helps defining project scope, planning, strategy, timeline, information architecture, flow and structure, usability, visual prototypes and documentation


Flash / Flex Developer

Job Description

The chosen candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining in-house Flash applications. The candidate must have strong skills in Flash/Flex development. He/she will be very familiar with ActionScript 2.0 and 3.0 (incl. classes, delegates, events, loading external swfs), progressive and streaming FLV playback, the Flash security model, JavaScript-ActionScript integration and AMF Remoting.

The candidate will have experience working with a graphic designer to faithfully reproduce a design within the Flash application. Attention to detail is very important.

Strong verbal and written English communication skills are required.

Other desirable skills and experience:

  • Strong Action Script 3.0 development skills
  • Good Action Script 2.0 Experience
  • Flash-Flex Integration
  • Strong Flash application development skills (Flash IDE, Animations, etc.)
  • Strong web development skills (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, HTTP, etc.)
  • Experience embedding Flash in web pages.
  • Significant programming experience, in OO language(s), and an understanding of object oriented programming.
